By accessing or using GoTranslate (gotranslate.in), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use our services. We may update these Terms from time to time, and your continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of any changes.

2. Description of Service

GoTranslate provides AI-powered multilingual writing tools, including but not limited to grammar checking, spell checking, transliteration, OCR (optical character recognition), voice typing, and translation. These tools are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

3. User Accounts

To access certain features, you may need to create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
• Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use GoTranslate to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Infringe upon the intellectual property rights of others
• Upload or process content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, or obscene
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
• Use automated scripts or bots to access the service in a way that exceeds normal usage
• Interfere with or disrupt the service or its infrastructure
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of our software
• Resell, redistribute, or sublicense access to the service without our written consent

5. Intellectual Property

5.1 Our Content

The GoTranslate website, logo, design, and underlying technology are owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of our service without our prior written consent.

5.2 Your Content

You retain all rights to the content you submit to GoTranslate (text, images, audio). By using our services, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process your content solely for the purpose of providing the requested service. We do not claim ownership of your content.

6. Free and Paid Plans

6.1 Free Tier

GoTranslate offers free access to its core tools with usage limits. We reserve the right to modify the features or limits of the free tier at any time.

6.2 Pro Subscription

Paid subscriptions are billed through Razorpay. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge the applicable fees to your chosen payment method. Subscription fees are non-refundable except as required by applicable law or as described in our refund policy below.

6.3 Refund Policy

If you are unsatisfied with your Pro subscription, you may request a refund within 7 days of your initial purchase by contacting us at support@gotranslate.in. Refunds are not available after the 7-day window or for renewal charges.

7. Third-Party Services

GoTranslate integrates with third-party APIs and services (including Google Gemini, Google Translate, MyMemory, Razorpay, and others) to provide its functionality. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or policies of these third-party services. Your use of these services through GoTranslate is also subject to their respective terms and conditions.

8. Accuracy Disclaimer

GoTranslate uses AI and automated tools for grammar checking, translation, OCR, and other services. While we strive for accuracy, we do not guarantee that the results will be error-free, complete, or suitable for any particular purpose. You should always review and verify AI-generated suggestions before relying on them, especially for professional, legal, or medical content.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GoTranslate and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, or business interruption, arising out of or related to your use of or inability to use the service. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless GoTranslate and its operators from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of your use of the service, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to GoTranslate at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. You may also delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, limitation of liability, and indemnification) will continue to apply.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of GoTranslate shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.

13. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective when posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically. Continued use of GoTranslate after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
